I like the changes.
I like them even more because it'll seriously screw with Omega Corp's tactics.
Which is always a good thing

You'll just have to trust CCP to truly balance things out - they haven't worked as hard as they have to screw it up.

I don't care about usability versus cost, as Xelios put it.
I do, however, care about effectiveness versus skill training.
Frigates needed very little skill training to be exceptionally effective.
This still hasn't been addressed with these changes (frigates, quite rightly, should be tacklers [webbers/warp jammers]; training to use those modules is too easy) but at least they don't have the silly use of cruise missiles. Frigate pilots will now have to concentrate more on their turret skills.

Quote: And to anyone who thinks that the "role" of a frigate is to warp scramble/stasis web: If a frigate is merely mobile spare midslots for a cruiser or battleship and not a ship in its own right then it doesn't have a place in the game.

Eat it up, friggy boy.
Frigates are SUPPORT vessels; why else do they warp faster, move faster, lock faster, are harder to hit, harder to lock, harder to track?
You are complaining that a Raven setup with a webber and warp-jammer killed you too easily? Too bloody right - any Raven with a webber fitted is pretty much betting on facing a frigate.
Their purpose is to get in there, warp-scramble/webify, orbit at stupid speeds while big hitters pound from range.
This is my opinion only and anyone disgreeing with me is wrong.

Oh, and if you think the mwd/sig radius tweak is bad for frigates, think of how that affects Tempests/Typhoons/Megathrons with blasters/autocannons.
It's not just frigates who feel the bite.

The problem is, the changes themselves can't be put in piecemeal or the game would be unbalanced for weeks.
